The Azucko App is operated by Prima Finance Ltd, headquartered in Killarney, Co Kerry, Ireland. Prima Finance was founded in 2002 by CEO, Brian Leslie. Brian had previously advised high net worth clients in Dublin on their personal finances. Back then, he envisaged that by using technology and the internet that comprehensive and holistic financial advice should not remain the preserve of only the wealthy but should be easily accessible to all. This was and remains the firm’s founding principal. This firm has over 20 years’ experience advising and assisting clients with all aspects of their personal finances.

In 2022, Azucko was launched, underpinned by ever evolving technology to transform and simplify personal finances and enable employees access their earned but unpaid income and also better manage their personal finances. Azucko’s key objective is to ease financial stress, and encourage financial wellness and enable employers to provide the financial freedom, control, insight and flexibility that their staff need and deserve now.

Azucko is a regulated Payment Institution under PSD2 by the Central Bank of Ireland, where it is authorised to handle client funds, make payments and provide Account Information (AIS) and Payment Initiation (PIS) services in Ireland and across the European Union and is also authorised to operate in the UK under the FCA under the passporting regieme.
